This pair of Bulbuls was is my neighbourhood since last 2-3
weeks. Along with sparrows it was my new guest, made a nest on a hibiscus plant
exactly in front of my back door. Eggs were laid; babies came out and were
taken care by them. What impressed me was the dedication with which they were
working for it. Very rarely they left the nest unguarded ; there always was one
parent to look after the eggs, the babies. A team work basically…
Today while looking at them I realised that we human beings
as parent must learn to see in same direction for the betterment of our kids. We
usually tend to think differently as a mother and as a father for our kids. We try
to mould them as we wanted ourselves to be; but couldn’t be because of many
reasons. While thinking so we sometimes forget that our kids are separate
individuals with totally different emotions, personality and desires. We must
understand that our kids are not the medium to fulfill our unfulfilled dreams.
We as parents should forget our differences and work for the
betterment of their health and personality and character. If we are unanimous
in our actions and reactions towards building his character, we will not have
to worry about his career. He will do that on his own. We are just the
caretakers, if we understand this and if we do our job well we will definitely
make a better society.
